Underpinners (V-Nailers)
The M4 has been developed following a from our dealers for a heavier duty version of the M3.
It is not just a heavier version but it incorporates several new features.
Components such as the linkage have been strengthened, the table is made from 15mm thick chromed steel, the vertical bars are made from 30mm ground steel bars, top and bottom bridges are larger.
New features include:
A new magazine design which is adjusted from the side of the machine and takes 5mm, 7mm, 10mm, 12mm and 15mm wedges.
The top pressure has been redsigned to make it easier to operate and with increased holding power.
We’ve incorporated a small mirror in the fence to help see the vertical edge of the joint.
The kit includes an LED light with magnetic strips which allow it to be placed so that it lights up the joining area.
And finally we’ve added a tool tray!
But at the same time all the good features of the M3 are retained, the fence that locks the moulding throughout the joining cycle, the 2 footpedals, the large extension tables and the ‘green’ light which tells the operator when the wedge is fully inserted.
The M3 will remain a best seller and we think the M4 will be another!

Light Weight Yet Strong Build
Ideal for Picture Framing or Window Glazing
Works with any Backing Material
Used by Hobby or Professional Framers
Use Flexible or Rigid Tabs
This hand operated tool is used to insert flat tabs which neatly secure glass, artwork and backing board into a picture frame. Choose from either flexible or rigid tabs - the flexible tab can be bent up (just using a finger nail) so that the contents of the frame can be easily changed or taken out for cleaning. The rigid tabs are made from a stronger steel and can be used for a more permanent fixing.
Announcement
It is with great sadness we must announce the sudden and unexpected death of our Managing Director and company founder Alistair Cook.
As a mark of respect and to allow our staff to attend the funeral we will be closed for one day on Tuesday 4th October 2011. We apologise for any inconvenience this causes and ask for your understanding during this difficult time.
Those who knew Alistair will remember him as a charming man, always active who filled his leisure time with hobbies and was also a proud member of the Loughborough Rotary Club.
He will be missed by us all.
