Keencut Excalibur 5000

The latest machine from the excellently engineered Keencut range, this is designed to cut all sheet materials used in the modern graphics and framing industry.

• Using 4 different cutting tools, Excalibur 5000 will cut paper, mountboard, glass, rigid PVC foam board, Gatorboard, acrylics, cardboard, MDF, hardboard, expanded and flexible plastics, honeycomb plastics and even some metals, easily and without dust
• 2 Sliding heads on the same track ensure that all the different cutting tools are in line, ready to use at all times
• Cuts vertically for the ultimate in space saving convenience.
• Ingenious indexed turret, simply turns to lock any of 3 cutting tools into position
• A patented, twin-wheeled, heavy duty cutter is mounted on a second sliding head at the top of the machine. This easily cuts hardboard, MDF and heavy backing boards in one pass with minimum effort, no distortion and no dust
• Unique all-new clamp will hold the heaviest of materials firmly up to a thickness of 14mm. Mounted artwork can be clamped firmly in the machine for cutting at any angle, allowing out of square images to be trimmed and corrected
• Attached to the clamp bar is a clear acrylic rule, running exactly alongside the full length of the cutline, allowing perfect positioning of the work to be cut. Cutting accurately to pencil lines, registration marks or the edge of a mounted image couldn't be simpler
• Two standard flip stops can be engaged or disengaged without disturbing the settings for one-off or production cutting. Accurate measuring and cutting by eye is made simple by the clear dual calibrated scales.

Keencut Excalibur 3000

The Excalibur 3000 has the same high specification as the popular 5000 model but without the twin wheeled second cutting head. this makes the 3000 model a more economic choice, avaialble in 48" and 62" sizes.
